Embracing the Thorns

Even if love is full of thorns, I would still embrace it….Unknown

Last week I had the pleasure of working with the lovely India to create some images with a Spring theme in mind.  We used two different costumes and I am still working on the images using the other costume.

But a while ago, I bought this dress from an op shop for a whole $10 and was thrilled with it.  Thankfully it fitted India like a glove and we went outside to a simple bush that had blossoms growing in my garden.

It’s amazing how you can do a beautiful shoot without spending a while lot of money.  Have a look around and see what you have in your backyard or inside your house.  It just takes a bit of thinking outside the square sometimes.

There is another lot of images taken the same day with a different costume, but I haven’t got around to them yet.  I quite often find that some images say very clearly that they aren’t ready to be worked on when you want to do them.  They need time to work out which direction they want to go in.
